XML Data Types
You can install DB2's XML Extender in addition to other DB2 Enterprise Edition version 7.1 products. The XML Extender provides three XML data types - XMLVARCHAR, XMLCLOB, and XMLFILE. The Lotus Connector for DB2 supports the XMLVARCHAR and XMLCLOB types. It does not support the XMLFILE type.

When using LotusScript, XML data types should be stored in LCFields of type LCTYPE_TEXT.
